Hello !

My name is Nataya, people call me Chacha, or Nchan.

I come from Indonesia. A homeland of thousands Islands, beaches, volcanoes and ethnicities. I grew up in a beautiful old house in Yogyakarta, with my beloved arty family. One freaky moment in my life, I happened to follow a kawaii marmot crossing ocean to the land of Alps, where i started this Chachamisu blog.

I actually blogged my photographs since Friendster time, the same time i took photos with old Sony Ericsson detachable VGA handphone camera, and a Sony Cybershot 1,3 mp. We had wonderful time together :)

I can't help my self falling into being confuse when i learn technical matters of photography. But I keep loving photos, freezing every beautiful founds, making them timeless. I like to retouch photos based on how i have sensed. Whatever camera I have in my hand at that moment, you can find me snapping things around.  I have been using pocket cam all the time, and it's not stopping me from being creative and make the most out of it.

I am wild for nostalgic, poetic, soulful, whimsical, eclectic, vintage pieces, time travel, lights, colors, textures, geometries...   This is my sensorial adventure and i hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Oh...make sure you get update via links you can see on my sidebar. Thankyou so much.

Here are random snippets about me:

1. I collect pretty clutters. I save empty jars, I bring home cute freebies from events, I keep feathers, travel memoribilias, etc.
2. Picontagious is my previous blog, where you still can visit to see my previous photographs and poets. i had written more poets at that time.
3. I want to own a fleamarket, fancy or vintage shop.
4. I wrote diary since about seven . I made the book by my self from fancy papers (girls at school collect and exchange papers!), and for the cover i drawn Strawberry Shortcakes.
5. I like children books, especially Astrid Lindgren, fairy tale, with pretty illustrations or funky pop-up.
6. I love when i sleep and dream something magical. My favorites are meeting my passed away dad, flying, jumping from high building, standing in the deep ocean, being awarded with a gold Budha head, flying up on the starry sky and being given a gold jewels crown!
7. Things I love to take photo of are old buildings, oldtimer, barn, whimsical kawai things, geometries, vintage pieces.
8. Some more things that I love to collect are clothes, digital pictures, blogs, music boxes, leather bags, mechanic toys, cute beanies, magical jewelries, and..much more lol.
