Cafe, Levis, Tee and Moccs |
Today I have have two story in one post.... Roll down....roll down...
Cafe Day
No talk, all read |
Wearing graphic tee, Levi's skater jeans, Claire's glasses, C&A socks, Cube bags and LdiR Moka moccs. |
In the end, we would think very hard to solve sudoku puzzles. I would also look for 5 differences between two look alike pictures. My fave puzzles. :)
This is my kind of simple lovely day. Perhaps one of, besides little strolling, movie at home, sleeping, picnic in the backyard.... How is your simple day treat would be like?
Raspberry sorbet, coconut and machiatto ice creams with crispy rolls. |
Bracelett from a monk in Thailand and Ginny's Jewels chains and thread bracelett. |
Not everytime the chairs are empty like this. |
More about my outfit next post! |
I've been testing moccasins slippers Moka Avorio from LdiR (L'Artigiano di Riccione) for a month and it's time to give my third and last report!
To be noted again, I am not asked to do a blog post, so this is my own will to share a review with you with my honest personal opinion. It's not a sponsor review.
COMFORT.
So light. The suede materials is even getting more soft and supple. Sometimes I just feel like I'm wearing only socks! Well, I still have my joint pain and muscle sore but they are not getting worse with these moccs slippers. I just have to wear back my custom medical inner soles and sneakers in between (the soles are too big to slip into the LdiR moccs).
However they would be more perfect if I took one number smaller. The problem of the comfortness has something to do with the fitting. Read below.

FITTING.
Whether because the size running bigger or the suede tends to expand upon wearing, or my feet is narrow (but with big big toes), one month of wearing almost everyday and I feel like they are getting more loose. I have to put insert or wear socks to get the maximum comfort. If not, my heels will jump out from the slippers or slip sidewards when I walk up on the steep road. I wear number 37, like I usually wear for slippers. I had made in Italy low heels pumps number 36,5 and it was too small.
I had read from a blog about LdiR Indianini moccasin boots, and she said that it felt too tight to wide feet at first but then the leather expanded upon wearing and fitted nicely.
USE.
These moccasins slippers are kind of "slip on and go" shoes. Looking pretty daily. Wearable almost everywhere on casual occasions (at work too, it depends). I have walked with them on shiny floors to old town paves, gravel and bushes, couple times of lightly abuse. Anyway, I wouldn't wear them in the rain and heavy muddy road.
I would think that the lightness and easiness to wear make these shoes suit for travel, if you don't mind with the cleanliness (read maintenance below).

DURABILITY.
Yes, for a handmade piece I say these slippers are very durable. Remembering that I had abused to wear them trough the bushes and along uneven hiking route, I am proud they miss not even one of rocking studs. Handmade stitches don't tear apart and all details are all on their place. The soles still grip. The leak and lack of glue I mentioned in the first review don't make problems. The suede lace that I pull out to make more fit aren't broken.
LOOK AND MAINTENANCE.
Of course they look lovely. With boho moccasin style, rocking studs, holiday espadrilles, all in one pair of shoes.Handmade in Italy, they are a special piece of art!
However, suede in ivory is easy to get dirty and difficult to clean. Even at some points dirty leather look cool, not the black one I've seen on the front and stains inside the shoes because of glue from my back inserts (my fault). Without socks, my sweat will also make some stain spots.
Take a look at photos below. Anyway, the real ones perhaps look cleaner than the photos.

COST
These shoes cost 125 Euros online shop price. For a handmade in Italy piece of art I think it's quite reasonable. I can't review more about the price cause I've never bought similar shoes from another labels and compared the quality.
CONCLUSION
I would recommend LdiR Moka as a very wearable but pretty footwear, easy, effortless, light, suit for travelling, for a handmade lovers, and casual, bohemian or eclectic style (or whatever style you think they would make the look). The fitting and maintenance I wrote above to be consider.
So that's my 3rd review. Here is my first review (click), second or 1 week of wearing review (click) if you want to read. I hope it would be useful for you and you also enjoy my photos. Even if it's not, feel free to say your opinion in the comment. Perhaps you have different experience with your moccasins or your fave local cafe?
